Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2019 While this may be a bad unit, I was fooled by the numerous positive reviews. I bought this to use with my Nintendo switch and it does not function. All the 5 stars are for a previous product that was a VGA to HDMI converter, not a USB C to HDMI. Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2019 For that I gotta say this is a 3 star product. But it's definitely unfortunate that, if you don't have good HDMI cables available, you may be completely SOL. The cheap HDMI cables have been relegated to other devices. This wasn't an issue for me because I have a number of unused HDMI cables that I can juggle around. The cheap Amazon basic stuff may not be good enough. So if you are having issues with video loading but no audio or sound being sent through your HDMI, try different HDMI cables. I tried four HDMI cables, two of which were really cheap (but work just fine for every other purpose), and two of which were moderately priced/higher quality.
